Look for hints of blackberry, black currant, black pepper, licorice, clove, thyme and cedar.
A full-bodied port made from a blend of Alvarinho and Verdejo makes for a honeyed, juicy and fragrant dessert wine that will satiate any sweet tooth after a meal. Try pairing with blue cheese or dark chocolate.
A blend of the old and new. Winemakers Frank and Tom began blending this Port style wine in 2010 using the small barrel in the Cante cellar that has been used for blending Portuguese grapes Tinto Cao and Touriga Nacional for more than 10 years. This phenomenal port style wine will grow richer with each bottling and pairs well with any indulgent chocolate dessert.
